When I lived in PORTLAND, I could hunt, fish and do other natural activities. I loved the people, the restaurants, Thanksgiving Day (the turkey was delicious!), and NBA games--the last game was amazing! I wish I had more time to visit all the natural places near Portland. |

What I really liked about PORTLAND is that generally it is a very tidy, quiet and safe city. I went to the movies, restaurants, and Mt. Bachelor Mountain, among others. I liked that the cost of living is low, and there are many festivals and events to go see. |

In addition to studying, the school offers fun events like the corn maze, NBA games, ski trips, and American holiday celebrations. Even the teachers participate! It is a great way to get to know each other. |

I love all the things you can do in PDX!! Sports, shopping, activities with friends...it was so fun. When I was in Portland I did a lot of hikes in many different and beautiful places! I enjoyed getting to know Portlanders, too. Because of where Portland is located, it was easy to take trips to other cities on the West Coast, as well as the Olympic Peninsula, Multnomah Falls, and Crater Lake. |

Many interesting places are close to downtown Portland, so I totally enjoyed this city. Also I liked Tri-Met maxes and buses; they were very convenient. The best thing I did was go to the summer music festival at the Oregon Zoo-- I will never forget it. |

I enjoyed trying to find new ethnic restaurants. I also enjoyed going to bowl and play pool. There are also many bars with nice music and food. |
